The beautiful single storey 1960s architect designed house is located in the centre of Putney Heath with mature planting on three boundaries and accessed by a private road, giving the opportunity for a central London site with all the qualities of a remote countryside property.

 

Mature planting and an award winning landscape architect as the client has allowed RUFFARCHITECTS to develop an ambitious refurbishment and extension proposal blurring the line between inside and out. A simple internal palette of naturally finished timber, concrete and whitewash, is complemented externally by a black glazed brick that helps reflect the surrounding vegetation.
