For the fourth consecutive year in a row, RUFFARCHITECTS are proud to have been invited

to contribute to the Article 25 10x10 Drawing The City charity event, which will be held at Twentytwo Bishopsgate on November 22nd.

Our allocated square was the perfect fit for us. Working from our Wardour Street studio in the heart of Soho, we have looked to capture the emotion, energy and everchanging nature of our allocated square, pre- and post- the Elizabeth Line.

Inspired by the films of Patrick Keiller and his psychogeographic portraits of London, we have collated a visual representation of Soho that we have then allowed technology, and the process of scripting, to self-generate a depiction of the future of the area.

The Elizabeth line establishes links between neighbourhoods and between people. It creates a network that will strengthen the city of London creating an ever more dynamic and vibrant city scape. If public transport is the stem of a tree, this line will be the rooted trunk that will structure the city of our tomorrow.

Our piece "A Study of Scripted Emotion" consisted of a large-scale framed artwork and an accompanying film piece documenting the processes of making the artwork, and went on display as part of this year's Article 25 10x10 Drawing the City to raise much-needed funds for the NGO's projects.
